The list of Spring ’19 features below apply to Salesforce Classic.
There are additional Spring ’19 features available to Salesforce Lightning Experience and Classic, Lightning Experience only, Community Enhancements, Other Enhancements in the Spring ’19 Release Highlights post.
Note: These features are not listed in any specific order.
- (Critical Update) Turn on Lightning Experience. Up for auto-activation in Winter ‘20. Applies to all users with the Lightning Experience User permission enabled, such as all users with standard profiles, custom profiles or permission sets that have the Lightning Experience User permission enabled. In Classic, users see two options to switch to Lightning Experience: a link to switch to Lightning Experience appears in the header and in the user profile menu.
Users working in Salesforce Classic will be switched to Lightning Experience on a weekly basis.
- Reps can manually share the records they own with the users assigned to territories.
- (Shield) Field Audit Trail Supports More Objects: You can now set field history retention policies on these objects: Campaigns, Individuals, Orders and Order Products.
