I’m super excited to be presenting with Admin Evangelist, Marc Baizman, on an upcoming Salesforce Admins Webinar where I get to talk about two things I’m passionate about, FLOW and CUSTOM METADATA TYPES!
I encourage you to register and attend the session where you will learn about custom metadata types, why they are awesome for Admins too, and how you can use them with flow to automate business processes.
See you virtually on August 8 at 10am PT!

Thank you for a great Webinar!
I would love to learn how to create Tasks under Standard or Custom Object using visual flow and Custom Metadata Type. It will be also helpful if each of the Custom Metadata Type Tasks would have an ‘Active’ checkbox so I could choose whether this Task will be created or not during the flow.
The ability to alter content without updating the process itself is overwhelming – I LOVE CUSTOM METADATA TYPES!
Can you elaborate more on what you mean by choose whether the task will be created or not during the flow?
With the help of the Success Community, I’ve managed to create the flow.
That’s great. Apologies. I only check my blog for comments on a periodic basis.
