There are additional Summer ’18 features available to Salesforce Lightning Experience Only, both Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic, Community Enhancements, Other Enhancements in the Summer ’18 Release Highlights post.

Note: These features are not listed in any specific order.

  1. In Setup, the option “Select Don’t Create an Opportunity by Default in Convert Lead Window” now works.
  2. (Critical Update) Prevents the use of HTML-based email templates from IE since it doesn’t support the Salesforce Content Security Policy (CSP) for browser security.
  3. File previews load quicker on high resolution monitors, using HTML5, not Adobe Flash.
  4. Flash will be completely retired in Salesforce by Spring ’19 as Adobe will stop supporting Flash by 2020, and several browsers currently block Flash.
