I presented at today’s Automation Hour, delivering a presentation on the basics of flow, with beginner examples of how to use flow, offering my 10 flow tips and tricks as well as providing some visual workflow resources to get flow newbies started on their journey.
I want to take a few minutes to thank you for stopping me at Salesforce events, @mentioning me on the success community or Twitter and letting me know how Automation Hour has helped you, but more importantly, thank you for telling me about your needs. You’ve told me that we deliver great content but I’m still a beginner. I don’t have the skill set for me to start using the cool intermediate and advanced stuff flow can do. I’m still on the bike with the training wheels on. I want you to know that I’ve heard you and today’s session was for YOU!
And the response from the community in terms of registrants was overwhelming and shows us the demand for these types of beginner topics. 256 of you said this matters to you. And 95 of you showed up for this live. Com’on, it’s a Friday afternoon (at least in the US) in the summer, for crying aloud!
Today, I wanted to show you what flow is, what are resources you have in Cloud Designer to build your awesome automated processes and some simple flow use cases to get you going. I know some of you have wanted to learn flow and maybe have been trying but it’s just not resonating with you. I wanted to tell you it’s ok if you don’t get it the first, second or heck, the third time. Do keep at it. You will get it. Believe me. I didn’t get flow the first couple of times and see me now. (LOL!) I was not going to go down without a fight. I conquered flow and I have faith that you will too!

So, I hope I was able to teach you a little something about flow today, to help demystify it for you and help you on your flow journey.
My heart is full when I’m able to help others in our #Ohana. This joy motivates me to blog and present at various Salesforce events. This goes back to my blog’s tagline: “Sharing my love for Salesforce with my #Ohana.”
I encourage you to register for our new series where we will deliver 4 beginner sessions back to back. Please let us know what you think of them.

Go on and let it flow, newbie #Flownatics!
Much love to my #Ohana.

Hi Jen! I’ve tried to downloading your presentation deck multiple times but the screenshot images on pages 20-25, 27, 29,32-34,39-41 all say ‘This image cannot currently be displayed.’ I’m wondering if anyone else is having this problem?
Thank you!
